Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited¡¡(SCEH), announced the release and availability of the new PlayStation®Portable (PSP®) Slim and Lite in Singapore from 10 October 2007, at a retail price of S$ 280 (GST included). The new PSP® will be available in three colors - Piano Black, Ceramic White and Ice Silver.

The new PSP® is 33% lighter and 19% thinner than the current version, making the all-in-one mobile entertainment system even more convenient to carry around at less than 1/2-pound in weight and less than 3/4-inch in thickness. The new PSP® system will also have a thinner, more efficient battery, 64MB of system memory and video-out port allowing consumers to enjoy their games at 480 x 272 resolution and movies at full standard-definition resolution on any progressive-scan TV. With these new additional functions, PSP® is set to cement its position as the entertainment handheld of choice for discerning entertainment-seekers across Singapore.
