Shuttle XPC 1337 Series SDXi

Welcome to the Shuttle XPC 1337 Series SDXi. This isn’t your mother’s XPC. With the XPC 1337 Series SDXi Shuttle has raised the small-form factor performance bar. Packed inside the XPC 1337 Series SDXi system is a quad-core Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 quad-core processor. This processor features four-cores, twice the amount of processing power than dual-core equipped P2 3700 systems. In addition to having four processor cores to work with, XPC 1337 systems also feature 2GB of Crucial Ballistix high performance memory.

In terms of graphical prowess the XPC P2 3700 systems feature not one but two ATI Radeon X1950 XTX graphics cards running in parallel with AMD’s ATI CrossFire technology. With ATI CrossFire technology games receive up to a 2x performance improvement in graphically demanding applications and games. The two graphics cards are also liquid cooled.

New to the XPC 1337 Series SDXi system is a liquid cooling system. The liquid cooling system allows the two AMD ATI Radeon X1950 XTX graphics cards to stay cool during the most extreme gaming situations. The liquid cooling system is also completely housed inside the P2 3700 1337 case. Speaking of cases, all P2 3700 1337 systems are hand painted with unique paint jobs for a unique appearance. XPC 1337 Series SDXi systems are painted with metallic paint for a glossy and sparkling look. A paint-matched keyboard and mouse are also included with XPC 1337 Series SDXi systems.

Fully internal liquid-cooling system

Since traditional cooling hardware cannot adequately cool video cards, manufacturers have had to integrate thermal protection circuitry that slows down the processor when it becomes too hot. This hardware is noisy, predisposed to breaking down, and requires a lot of space to provide air flow. More elaborate solutions such as water cooling kits can do a better job of removing heat, but require complex installation and are often less than reliable due to poor design. The 1337-series implements CoolIT System’s patented MTEC™ system which consistently reduces the temperature of the video processors well below specified operating temperatures. This results in improved video performance and reliable operation under any conditions.

Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700
Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 processors offer four-cores for four times the performance. The jump to quad-core processors allows future games to have more headroom to create more realistic gaming experiences. With four cores games can dedicate each processor core to specific tasks including physics and audio calculations.

AMD ATI Radeon X1950 Pro CrossFire

Two graphics cards for twice the amount of graphical power. With ATI CrossFire technology games have never appeared so realistic, experience never before seen visual realism with the XPC 1337 Series SDXi.

10,000RPM Western Digital Raptor 150GB
Two drives for twice the disk performance. Western Digital Raptor 150 GB hard drives spins at 10,000 RPM for blazing fast hard disk performance. Games have never loaded as fast as this.

2GB Crucial Ballistix
Only the best memory available memory is installed in XPC 1337 Series SDXi systems. Crucial delivers the highest performing DDR2 memory for XPC P2 3700 1337 systems—with heat spreaders to keep the memory cool under extreme performance conditions. With 2GB XPC 1337 Series SDXi systems also have plenty of power for Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Vista with aero glass user interface.
