The fastest nVidia GeForce 9800 GTX and 9800 GX2 cards have hit the stores. Both XFX and eVGA offer very highly clocked models of both cards, but XFX got their cards in locally first.

The XFX GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB is clocked at a tasty 760MHz core, almost a full 100MHz faster than the reference clocks.

The XFX GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB clocks in at 700MHz core, 100MHz faster than a full reference model.

Both cards are still nVidia reference cards, just that they are clocked higher on custom BIOS by XFX.

The XFX GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB Black Edition is priced at $ 579 and is available at both Cybermind Computer House and Fuwell Technologies.

The XFX GeForce 9800 GX2 1GB Black Edition is priced at a tempting $ 969 and is available at Cybermind Computer House.
