EVGA GeForce 8800 Ultra Superclocked Review Creme of the Crop
There is no denying that the GeForce 8800 Ultra is a rich man's toy. Selling for a price tag of between USD$ 700-800, this video card is the ultimate satisfaction for the frame rate hungry. Even at the tip of this pyramid, there is distinction among the top cards, and today we take a look at the epitome of performance graphics, the EVGA GeForce 8800 Ultra Superclocked, the creme of the crop.
The front of the card looks just like any of the Ultras around, except for the EVGA sticker on the fan. The visual distinction lies at the back of the card:
Here you see a back heatsink covering the behind of the GPU core, similar to what we see on the EVGA cards with ACS3 cooling. This is something we don't see on the Ultras that spot reference coolers.
Dual DVI and S-Video output as per normal.
The usual accessories, a slight pity that we do not find a kick-ass DirectX 10 game bundled.
